I have been *slightly* neglectful of posting on the blog. It’s true that time really does fly and so much of it passes by without notice. I have more posts than I want to think about right now to catch up on but let’s start with this one from last summer.

This session was extra special because I’ve know Jon since he was a kid. Literally. I lived with him and his family my graduation year of high school when my stepfather got posted to BC. They were kind enough to take me in so I could graduate with all of my friends.

Jon was in grade six then so you can imagine how (cough) old it made me feel when he asked me to take photos of his own family! It was lovely to meet Anna and their gorgeous boys who, as you can see, had quite the personalities. It was such a joy to take these portraits and reconnect with old friends!

Talk about time flying…

I’ve been lucky enough to photograph this lovely family for both maternity and newborn sessions so when they approached me to do some family photos while the grandparents were visiting from England, of course I agreed!

I’m honored to have watched this family grow and to see what a personality little Leo has become. We were worried that he might be hesitant to pose for photos by himself but he was a natural in front of the lens and such a ham (even though it was past his bedtime)!
